This documentary photo series was created while hiking through the remote landscapes of Kyrgyzstan, exploring the country's mountains, valleys, and rural communities on foot. Travelling beyond the main roads provided an opportunity to experience daily life at a slower pace, meeting the people whose traditions and livelihoods remain closely connected to the land.

The photographs document the relationship between landscape and community, capturing scenes of nomadic culture, farming, herding, and everyday life set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tian Shan mountains. Alongside sweeping vistas and remote trails, the series presents intimate portraits and candid moments that reflect the hospitality, resilience, and enduring traditions of rural Kyrgyzstan.
